Harborly Referral Scheme — Terms and Conditions

1. General

  • These terms apply to all Harborly referral schemes: the Carer Referral Scheme, the Client Referral Scheme, and the Professional Partner Referral Scheme.
  • By participating in any referral scheme, you agree to these terms.
  • Harborly reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw any referral scheme at any time. Participants will be notified of material changes with reasonable notice.

2. Eligibility

  • Carer Referral Scheme: Open to verified carers with a live profile who have completed at least one booking.
  • Client Referral Scheme: Open to registered clients who have completed at least one booking.
  • Professional Referral Scheme: Open to registered professional partners only. Not available to individuals acting in a personal capacity.
  • Referred individuals must not have previously registered on Harborly under any email address.

3. Rewards

  • Carer referral rewards of £25 per qualifying referral are paid via Stripe to the referring carer's registered bank account within 7 days of the qualifying action.
  • Milestone bonuses are paid within 14 days of the qualifying referral completing their first booking.
  • Client platform credit of £20 (or £50 for Care Plan referrals) is applied automatically within 48 hours of the qualifying action. Credits are valid for 12 months and are non-transferable.
  • No financial rewards are offered to healthcare or social care professionals. This is consistent with applicable professional standards.

4. Fraud and Abuse

  • Harborly reserves the right to withhold, reverse, or recover any rewards where fraudulent activity is suspected, including self-referral, fabricated accounts, or referrals made in bad faith.
  • Any participant found to be abusing the referral scheme will have their account suspended.

5. Tax

  • Referral rewards paid to self-employed carers may constitute taxable income. Harborly does not provide tax advice. Participants are responsible for their own tax obligations.
