No. Harborly is an introductory marketplace. All carers on the platform are self-employed independent professionals. You are responsible for your own tax, National Insurance, and any insurance you deem appropriate. You confirm this during onboarding.
Once approved by our admin team, your profile goes live immediately and you can start receiving booking requests. Some carers get their first booking within days.
You can still start your application. We’ll provide guidance on how to obtain an enhanced DBS check. While we recommend having it ready, we understand the process can take time and will work with you.
Earnings are paid weekly to your bank account via Stripe Connect. Clients pay upfront at booking, so your earnings are secured immediately. You can track all payments in your Harborly dashboard.
Yes. You set your own hourly rate during profile setup and can adjust it at any time. Keep in mind that your rate affects your visibility in client search results competitive pricing can lead to more bookings.
